About Kerry Banks
Kerry Banks is a veteran Vancouver freelance writer and book author with 25 years experience in the publishing field.
Kerry’s work has appeared in a wide variety of magazines including Maclean’s, Vancouver, Western Living, Westworld, Equinox, Canadian Geographic, Discovery, Destinations, Canadian Business and BC Business, as well as such newspapers as the Globe and Mail and the Vancouver Sun. He has won 15 Canadian and international magazine writing awards for his features in the categories of Travel, Business, Science and Medicine, Arts and Culture, Personality Profile and Sports.
Kerry also wrote a popular weekly sports column for the Georgia Straight for 10 years. In 1996, it was voted the best column in Western Canada. Kerry has also published 15 books on hockey, baseball and basketball.
